maxon is expanding its portfolio of multi-axis controllers with two new variants of the successful MiniMACS6-AMP4 series. These new models are specially tailored to the requirements of precision automation and industrial communication and enable customers to integrate sophisticated motion control solutions even more flexibly and efficiently.
The new version MiniMACS6-AMP4/50/4-IF1 was specially developed for applications with smaller motors. It enables finely tuned current control with high power density. With up to 4 A continuous current and 7 A peak current per axis, it offers precise motion control for devices, laboratory automation and compact machines and is ideal for use with maxon motors. The compact design remains unchanged, as do the versatile connection options via Ethernet, EtherCAT, CANopen and USB. This ensures seamless integration into existing systems - without compromising on functionality or performance.
Another technological milestone is the integration of the PROFINET interface in the MiniMACS6-AMP4 series. This means that maxon supports one of the leading industrial Ethernet standards and enables high-performance real-time communication in the millisecond range. The new interface supports both cyclic and acyclic data exchange and offers robust diagnostic functions - a decisive advantage for maximum uptime and system reliability.
Plug-and-play integration into Siemens and other PROFINET-based systems simplifies commissioning considerably.
With the combination of precise current control, compact design and extended multi-protocol connectivity - including EtherCAT, Ethernet and CANopen - maxon offers its customers a future-proof platform for demanding automation tasks.
The new variants of the MiniMACS6-AMP4 series are now available and set new standards in intelligent motion control.
